Four Sundays exploring the Positions of Care, a practice of regulation, recovery and to coming back to yourself!

The world we live in carries too much information, too many decisions, too much stimulation and too little time to stop and listen.
The result is often a body that feels tired even after resting because the nervous system never fully settles. We are left with a sense of being disconnected from ourselves while continuing to function.
For years, I searched for practices that could help me return to myself. Among everything I encountered through years of my journey as a dancer, there is one practice I continue to come back to again and again.
The Positions of Care became the way to prepare my body for the day, recover from periods of intensity, release accumulated tension, and reconnect with myself when life becomes overwhelming.
This July, I invite you to experience this practice with me.

WHAT IS RESTORE?
Restore is a four, online, two-hours-session on Sundays to explore the Positions of Care, a sequence of body positions designed to support self-regulation, recovery, and body awareness, developed by Gerda Alexander, the founder of Eutonia.
Positions of Care offers a direct way to slow down, sense yourself, and restore the relationship between attention and the body.
The sessions are a practice of relief in a world that rarely stops moving designed for you to come back to, again and again.
When practiced with consistency and presence, the Positions of Care offers support with ✦ Nervous system regulation ✦ Recovery from physical and emotional stress ✦ Reduced muscular tension ✦ And a deeper sense of connection with yourself.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?

Each session lasts approximately two hours and combines guided somatic explorations, Positions of Care, and moments of reflection.

The work is gentle, accessible, and adaptable to different bodies and levels of experience. You can practice lying down, from the comfort of your own home.

All sessions are held live on Zoom. No previous experience with Eutonia is required. Only curiosity and a willingness to listen.

The practice is facilitated by Anderson Mendes and designed as a self-care practice you can continue long after the workshop ends.

I’m Anderson!
My relationship with movement began long ago. As a dancer, teacher, and lifelong student of the body, I spent years searching for ways to move with more freedom, less effort, and greater connection to myself. Along that journey, I discovered Eutonia, a practice that transformed not only how I move, but how I live, helping me recover after intense days, regulate my nervous system, listen to my limits, and reconnect with myself when life felt overwhelming.
Through Eutonia For Dancers, I share these practices with people from around the world, creating spaces where movement becomes a path toward presence, self-care, and embodied awareness. My work is rooted in a simple belief: when we learn to listen to the body, we discover resources for support, resilience, and connection that have been with us all along.
